Hey there, friend! If you’re anything like me, then I bet your curiosity kicks in whenever you’re driving through town and see a newly cleared field, a demolished building, or a “financed by Arvest Bank” sign popping up. You probably wonder—what’s going in there? What’s coming to Springdale next?
Well, you’re in luck. In this post, I’m going to break down all the exciting new developments, upcoming events, and what life is looking like these days in Springdale, Arkansas.
For those who don’t know me, my name is Anthony Mosley, and I’m a local real estate broker based out of Bentonville. I help people just like you discover whether Northwest Arkansas—especially Springdale—might just be the perfect place to call home.
Springdale: Right in the Heart of NWA’s Boom
Northwest Arkansas is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and Springdale is smack dab in the middle of it all—nestled between Bella Vista to the north and Fayetteville to the south. And let me tell you, there’s no shortage of activity happening here.
🎉 Events You Won’t Want to Miss
Springdale is bustling with things to do year-round, including:
- Arkansas Naturals Baseball – Back for their 16th season! (Yes, they started in 2008, but remember: we had a little pandemic pause in there.)
- Turnbow Concert Series – Live music from April through September in Downtown Springdale.
- Street Dinner – A beloved event now in its 9th year, happening June 8.
- Natural State Criterium Series – For all the road cycling fans out there.
- Art Walks & Live Theatre – With performances and galleries at The Medium, a community creative arts venue.
🏗️ New Buildings & Businesses
The skyline is shifting in Springdale with new developments and renovations including:
- Hilton Tapestry Hotel – A 130-room boutique hotel coming soon.
- Mixed-Use Developments on Emma Avenue – These combine residential, retail, and dining into one walkable experience.
- Luther George Park – Recently expanded and renovated.
- Market Center of the Ozarks – A 45,000-square-foot food hub with commercial kitchens and a marketplace for local producers.
- The Star on Spring – A chic, Art Deco-style Airbnb/hotel.
- Gaskins Steakhouse – The Eureka Springs favorite now has a Springdale location (I celebrated my birthday there, and the filet was chef’s kiss).

That’s right—it’s called The Big Dill, and it’s a $50 million pickleball complex coming soon. Sounds like someone’s dad definitely named it (and yes, pun absolutely intended). It’s going to be a big win for the local sports scene.

Springdale is growing—and fast. With around 89,000 residents and home to the largest school district in Arkansas (serving over 20,000 students), the demand for housing is on the rise.
Here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming:
- Low-density Housing – Single-family homes are still being built steadily.
- High-density Housing – More duplexes, condos, and apartments than ever.
- Mixed-Use Developments – Think walkable neighborhoods with homes above shops.
- Big Emma & Via Emma – Two exciting new residential/commercial projects.
- The Ramsay Apartments – New luxury apartment living in the heart of Springdale.
We’ve even tracked new builds since 2018, and while numbers dipped around 2019–2020, recent years have shown a steady increase—Springdale is building just shy of 500 homes in 2024.
